Judgment in the Hall of Two Truths captures the sacred and fearsome ritual of soul weighing in the afterlife, as told in ancient Egyptian mythology. At the center of the stone temple, bathed in ethereal light and surrounded by columns, a mortal kneels before a glowing golden scale — the Scales of Ma’at. Hovering above, a luminous white feather descends, symbolizing truth, purity, and the divine order.

To the left stands Amentet, veiled in a red cloak, embodying the gateway between the living and the dead — a silent witness to the soul’s fate. Before her looms the terrifying yet righteous figure of Ammit, the devourer of the unworthy, rendered as a towering hybrid beast with muscular form, sharp horns, and piercing eyes. On the right, Thoth, the ibis-headed god of wisdom and scribe of the gods, records the soul’s judgment in his divine scroll.

The atmosphere is one of awe, consequence, and sacred balance — the moment in which the soul is either redeemed or erased for eternity.
